It is recommended that all door laves are manufactured according to the appropriate standards and relevant codes. When choosing the appropriate automatic door operator it should be matched to the weight recomendations provided for each model. To achieve a smooth door function a rule of thumb ratio, of 3:1 height vs width should be applied to the door. As the weight, height and width of the door increases it may be necessary for additional track wheels to be included. At least 3,000 mm is required between door sets to achieve any kind of air lock effect. However as the majority of entrances are designed for two way traffic it is unlikely that even a deep lobby would act as an effective climate control. An interlock device can be incorporated which prevents the two sets of doors being opened at the same time. However we would only recommend installing such a device in trained traffic situations due to the high potential of traffic flow problems.
